Meritage is the name used describe Bordeaux style blends that are made in California. This selection from the well regarded Hahn Estate is a Merlot based red, with forward cherry and cedar aromas. The palate is lush and medium to full bodied with that same cherry and cedar quality, along with a healthy dose of plum. The finish is very pleasant, clean and of good length. One of the best value Meritage wines in the market.
