Well, it looks like August is Argentina month here at Bin Ends. Actually, it looks like it may even be Trapiche month... Last weeks Pinot Noir offer was one for the record books with well over 200 cases rolling through this store in about 10 hours! This week's offer goes back to Mendoza and back to Trapiche. We've preached our fondness for this estate many times over at this point, so we'll spare you this time, they make great wines... Let's leave it at that.
We've been working on this offer for well over a month. It took quite a bit of back and forth to put it together and then we had to wait for what must be the worlds slowest ship to sail the wine from Buenos Aires to Boston. With all that finally in the past, we can now release what is in our opinion our hottest white wine offer ever and what we think will rival even the infamous "Tiz Red" offer of June.
The boat arrived with 350 cases of 2008 Astica Chardonnay and we fully expect that we're going to sell every last drop of it over the next few days. This is an incredible value Chardonnay that we think our great customers will absolutely love!
The 2008 Astica Chardonnay is sourced from hand picked vineyards high in Mendoza's Cuyo region. This wine is about as easy as it gets. 100% Chardonnay aged entirely in stainless steel. We'll say that again... no oak! Stainless steel aging allows the grapes character to shine. The wine is light to medium in body, fresh and lively. Green apple, ripe pear and a refreshing acidity drive it. A complete "no brainer"!
The biggest news yet? This is officially our lowest price "Buy The Case" offering yet. This one beats out even our top seller at $48 per case. Great drinking Argentine Chardonnay at under $4 per bottle? Hell... I'm buying a few cases and I own the stuff!!
