Cameron Hughes is a master when it comes to sourcing great quality wines and then offering them at tremendous savings.
This wine is a MONSTER, cool climate Cabernet... Blue Chip stuff all the way. In case you are unfamiliar with the fruit source here, the Oak Knoll district is in Southern Napa near Carneros. Grapes grown here have among the longest hang times in Napa and that translates to great ripeness and super extraction. The wine has firm tannic structure, with cassis and dark chocolate notes galore. Only 1300 cases were produced.
