The 2003 E&E Black Pepper(94pts WS) has everything going on that you come to expect from a "rock star" old vine, Barossa Shiraz... Deep purple/black hue, forward aromatics of ripe blackberry, cherry blossom,espresso and... black pepper. The palate is lush and full bodied.. booming with flavor as the aromatics carry over cleanly and precisely. A wine that shows great today but will continue to shine for another 7-10 years.
