Boy, were we pleasantly surprised when we came across this lovely little Central Coast Pinot Noir! Made by winemaker Alan Phillips from some of the finest vineyards from Monterey to Santa Barbara, the 2008 Blue Jay Pinot Noir Central Coast is firmly structured yet elegant, with a nose of Burgundian-style earthiness and ripe blueberries that follows through on a palate, with a touch of oak to round out the body. This wine with be FAN-TABULOUS with turkey dinner.
