We have an old friend flying in from Spain just in time for the holidays! A friend whom we thought would not be in our store at least until next year is making a very brief appearance, just in time for your celebrations. The 2008 Pinol Ludovicus, awarded 90 points form Robert Parker, was a BIG seller when it was last here and had many of our customers making a beeline for its orange label. Made in Terra Alta, just outside the Priorat, from Garnacha, Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in oak for 3 months, the wine "has a glass-coating, deep crimson hue with an expressive nose of cherry, blueberry, and blackberry. Mouth-filling, succulent, and flavorful, this tasty effort is a sensational value". Serve it at dinner parties, give it away as gifts, or keep it all for yourself - it's a crowd-pleaser!
